I have dental plan with my husband's company. I could not see me regular dentist at the time so I went to another one. We are alotted $1,300 per year for the plan. The other dentist did x-rays then stated that I needed to see an endodontist for a root canal. Told me my out of pocket for everything including the nice crown and build-up would be around $120.00. I made my appointment, went in and found out that since I was seeing a specialist, my out of pocket would be over $500.00 at his facility then another $200.00 for the regular dentist to do the crown and build up. So, I went to another dentist, my regular one. He filled one tooth, but said I would have to have a root canal on the other one and he recommends the same endodontics office that I had already gone to. I don't have that kind of money! I've put it off and now I have so much pain constantly all day. I can't eat, sleep, or even think about working! I'm taking penicillin and Tylenol 3 and they aren't doing anything but making me sleepy and nauseous. I live in Mansfield and am needing to get this done very, very reasonable. The endodontist office in HEB area has x-rays and so does an office in Arlington. Please contact me. I wonder if I can go to the ER since my health insurance is so much better than my dental??? Also, now I can't tell which tooth it is since now the whole area on the left side hurts...I've been clinching my teeth when I sleep lately which has made all of this worsen.
