When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
  • Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
  • Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description, special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
  • Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
  • Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors. Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

I recommend you utilize a restorative dentist to develop a plan, a board certified orthodontist, and an oral surgeon or periodontist if implants are to be involved in the future. Your first stop should be at a general/restorative dentist to help you develop a plan and sequence to achieve optimal results. The general dentist can serve as the coordinator of all the specialists involved. Based on the rather limited information, your case seems very interesting.

Good luck, and feel free to contact our office if you have any questions (817) 306-7474.

You should visit with a restorative dentist first and let him be your guide with the other specialist that will be sought out to work on the case. It will seem like alot of work in the beginning but worth all the effort and financial commitment when you have your smile returned.

Please don''''t hesitate to contact us if we can be of service.

Hello!

I see what you wrote about your concern. I understand that you want the outcome to be right. It sounds like to me that you need to find a person that you are comfortable with and trust as well. As far as your question about two doctors versus one, an oral surgeon would place the under the gum part of implants and a general dentist would help you with Invisalign and the above the gum part of the implant, the crown. I can only give you my experience with helping many patients with the similar concern. It would be wise to have your general dentist plan the teeth placement, implant location, size, and Invisalign.Your general dentist will act as the planner and the oral surgeon that places the implant to do just that. I would be happy to anwwer any questions in person that you may have. It is a little tough over the internet to make sure that I answered your questions fully . If it helps you and feeling comfortable with a decision such as this, I would be glad to help you with a complimentary consultation. I notied that you wrote that you have current x-rays. I have many patients that I have helped with dental implants as well as Invisliagn. I am happy to help you.

Thank you for the e mail. I hope this helps. Sorry to write so much,.

The best thing to do is find a good restorative dentist that can do alot of what you need and refer to a specalist what he thinks is necessary. Implants are usually $2000 each. The crowns that go on the inplants are about $2000 each also. Invisalign will run around $4500
