Case Description
My teeth have rapidly decayed over the last six years, I think from drinking sodas and not getting regular dental care. Most of my teeth are broken down or totally decayed, but I really don't want to have dentures. I'm wondering if its possible to have bridges or crowns on such bad damage. Implants are my next thought, but they are quite expensive themselves.

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to accurately answer your question without the appropriate diagnostic data. When teeth are badly decayed, extraction may be the only option. However, we sometimes perceive our problems to be greater than they actually are. We sometimes also perceive them to be better than they actually are. Bridges, crowns, and implants can all be very viable options dependent upon the extent of the decay. With all of this being said, I would recommend that you seek a consultation appointment with a restorative dentist. At this appointment, your dentist can take radiographs, study models, diagnostic photographs and a thorough dental history. With all of this information, a realistic treatment plan can be formulated. You never know, your condition might not be as bad as you think!I hope that this was of some benefit to you. I will tell you that while Implants may seem quite expensive to you as you begin to explore replacing your teeth. I have not ever had a patient disappointed with their rebuilt dentition when we use Implants. I would NOT wish dentures or partials on anyone, as they both are offer only compromised comfort and function. Do this once and do it right. It boils down to what YOU want, and what quality of life will YOU be happy with. My recommendation is dont scrimp on rebuilding your teeth. Compromises in these situations are always disappointing to all involved. I would be happy to help you.
