Case Description
My dentist said I needed 7 root canals & crowns & 12 fillings. The cost is 12,000. Would it be less expensive to have bridgework or dentures? I have always wanted to have a smile where I didn't have to hide my teeth. Because of the expense & my fear of dentists I am ashamed of my teeth. I would be thankful for any information concerning crowns vs. bridges.

You definitely could save money by having your teeth pulled and dentures placed. However, depending on your age, this is not always a good idea. I would a few opinions from different dentists and proceed with whatever makes the most sense to you.
