Kurt Calender is SO great. My daughter fell off her bike and her tooth fell out after we went to the ER we needed a dentist and this is who we went to. He was called about 9:30 at night and had no problem going to his office to fix my daughters teeth and do what ever else he had to do for her. He took his time I did not feel like he did not want to be helping he was great, my daughter likes him and she is 11. My daughter is on chip and that was not a problem he still helped us. We need more people in this world like Kurt Calender. Words can not express how great how great he his.

About Hygienist: his staff are great also. They were all nice, could not be any better.

My first time to meet with Dr. Calender was after my daughter was born and I was in severe pain. He was able to comfort me and lower my anxiety to get this done. He had to surgically extract one of my teeth and this was the first time I had to get anything done like this so I was down right scared. But after it was all said and done there was NO pain I could not believe it! And to make my trip and time with him even better he called me that night to make sure I was doing ok. I have NEVER had a dentist do this befroe in the past. He is the VERY best and there is NO ONE like him in his field. I will forever go to see Dr. Calender for all of my dental work. I send all of my friends and family to him they have all had the very same reaction as I did. I love this guy!

Not only does he do great work, have great bedside manner, but his staff is the best also. Jonni is awesome and she will make you feel at ease before you ever see Dr. Calender then once you meet his assistants you know you are in GREAT hands! I am a BIG baby when it comes to pains in my mouth and Dr. Calender and his staff always go above and beyond to make sure you are in great comfort. I love this place!

Dr. Calender is the best Dentist I have ever been to!! He is very thoughtful and caring. He gives you his recommendations, but will only do what you want him to do. His entire staff is awesome! On Friday I was having horrible tooth pain, but I had to go to work. Jonie called me and told me that Dr. Calender really wanted to get me in that day so if I couldn't come in untill after work they would stay late!! When I got there, Dr. Calender and his staff were (as always) compassionate, thoughtful, and thorough. I had 4 sugical extractions and I didn't feel a thing! Dr. Calender gave me his after-hours cell phone number and told me if I needed anything to give him a call. He even called me later that night just to check on me! My entire famliy sees Dr. Calender and we all love him and his staff. I would (and I do) recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for an awesome Dentist.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Calender's and I am always very pleased with the services he provides and his office staff. Everyone is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Both Dr. Calendar and his dental assistants are always very attending and make sure you are as comfortable as you can be during your procedures. Dr. Calender will even call to check up on you after you have a procedure done to just to make sure you are doing okay! I have never had any doctor do that for me! I highly recommend Dr. Calendar to anyone and everyone.

So caring and gentle! We called the office after my daughter was hit in the mouth in an bicycle accident and they worked us in immediately. Dr. Calender was so patient and answered all my questions and explained everything to us. We've been going there for the last year and are so happy to have found him!

Dr Calender and his staff are wonderful! I had 16 veneers done and I couldn't be more pleased! Dr Calender worked with me every step of the way. I went to get my teeth cleaned one day and told Dr Calender my concerns. We discussed my options and 12 months later I have exactly what I wanted! The journey included 11 months in braces and about 6 hours in the dentist chair. No pain..a VERY pleasant day! I would encourage anyone who is looking to make a mid life (or any life) change to go see Dr Calender! Thank you, Dr Calender!

Dr. Kurt Calender is a gentle, caring person who happens to be the best dentist I have ever known. And I should know, I have severe dental issues due to genetic malformations and have been experiencing dental problems and dentists most of my life. There are other good dentists, such as Gerald Daniel in the area, but Dr. Calender is not satisfied with only being excellent himself. He requires the same kindness and excellent service from every single member of his staff.

Dr. Calender's office manager Joanie will see that you are taken care of completely and will keep track of you effortlessly. His hygienists have to be gentle and thorough and they better be very good at taking xrays. He is a very sweet person, but he will not hesitate to improve a staff person's knowledge of how the work is to be done in the unusual circumstance that they're not doing exactly what he wants them to do. :)

Both of Dr. Calender's offices have a very safe and serene feeling to them, and he is extremely capable of providing a painless and very positive experience for anyone. He is completely empathetic to persons with fear or anxiety and he has a great many tricks up his sleeve for reducing and eliminating those fears.

I had not been happy with a couple of previous dentists so a good friend of our family recommended Dr. Calender. Upon my first visit I determined Dr Calender would be my dentist. He was gentle, painless and took the time to explain procedures. His work is meticulous.

My teeth had always been twisted and I was reluctant about showing my teeth when I smiled. I always noticed and admired others' straight teeth. Recently, Dr. Calender did 8 porcelain caps on my front teeth. I only wish I would have had it done 50 years ago. They are beautiful; it makes me want to SMILE ALL THE TIME.

Dr. Calender has been our dentist for five to six years now. I drive several miles from my home ( there are many dentists closer ) but I feel the trip is absolutely worth it. My wife; some of our children and grand children now see him and they are all pleased with what he has done for them.

Are you ready for a great and true story? Twenty-one years ago, I needed some dental work and also wanted to close the gap between my front teeth. Then, is when I met Dr. Calender in an Arlington clinic. I remember he used a bonding procedure and he told me it would probably hold for a couple of years. It looked great, I was happy. The years passed, we lost contact, I moved away, had not-so-good experiences with other dentists. I returned to Arlington, and after all that time, the bonding on my teeth had become stained and worn. And after all that time, I had never forgotten what a pleasant experience I had had with "young" Dr. Calender----So, I looked him up! To my surprise, he hadn't changed a bit. He is still the same caring, gentle and knowledgeable Dentist magnified with the latest technique and technology available. My teeth needed some work, he got busy making repairs. The old bonding came off, in came beautiful veneers and now I have a beautiful smile! My daughter says I look more like her with my new smile. In my sales career, I credit Dr. Calender for helping me nearly double my income in the last 2 years. I am very happy to say that Dr Calender is my "Dentist-for-Life".

Extremely friendly and courteous Doctor and Staff. Began seeing Dr. Calender due to a weekend emergency. Dr. Calender was the only dentist out of 4 contacted that was professional enough to return our call and see my mother immediately. As a result we now have 6 family members seeing Dr. Calender. Dr. Calender has made numerous evening follow-up calls to our family to ensure that there were no problems.

Just had my teeth cleaned, and it was the most pain-free and relaxing cleaning I've ever had.

The front desk personnel are always helpful with insurance questions and appointments.

Due to extremely uncomfortable experiences I had while growing up in the dentist office I avoided dental care is an adult. Consequently, my teeth and gums were in very poor health when I started to see Dr. Calender for treatment. I dentist shopped for a long time trying to find the best place where I could feel comfortable and important enough to be treated as an individual. It all came together for me at Dr. Calender's office in Southlake. Dr. Calender has restored my faith in dentistry. His genuine concern for my comfort was above any other. Dr. Calendar has the best customer service and caring nature of any dentist I have ever been to. He takes the time to explain procedures and the alternatives in language I can understand and process. He is very meticulous and is not satisfied unless all procedures and work are 101% right. He has done many procedures on me and I have not experienced any pain. Even when I've been in the chair 3 hours, he and his assistant are periodically asking me if I'm OK and all is good. Dr. Calender is the only dentist that actually calls you the night you have a large procedure done to make sure that you are OK and not in pain. His talent, skills with his hands and mind, are a true testiment to what it takes to be a really great dentist.

I can't say enough about Dr. Calender and his staff. I have always had a fear of going to the dentist until I met these extremely capable and wonderful people. Dr. Calender and his staff have always put me at complete ease and the techniques that he uses are great. I don't even feel the novacaine shot. I had to have a root canal on one occasion and a wisdom tooth pulled on a seperate occasion and I returned to work on both days. A+ dentist!

A co-worker suggested Dr. Calender when I had a dental emergency. I had an appointment immediately. His staff is knowledgeable from x-rays,cleanings,procedures,insurance and setting appointments. At the first appointment, x-rays were taken and Dr. Calender suggested a root canal. During the conversation about my medical history, I told Dr. Calender one of my mediactions makes me cough. He explained the procedure and sedation therapy. I was completely at ease and everything went perfectly. At another appointment, Dr. Calender explained what the x-rays had shown and the options I had. There was not as much dental work as I had thought. My appointment has been set for the remainder of the work necessary.I look forward to good dental health with Dr. Calender and his wonderful staff helping me.

Dr. Calender is very kind and gentle. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. He truly CARES about his patients and wants the best for them. The time and care he takes with each tooth is awesome. He would never consider doing ANYthing "halfway" or put a "Band-Aid", per say, over a problem tooth. Everything he does is first class.

Joni works the front office. She is kind and is very understanding when it comes to financial limitations. Any problem you may have, she can work it out with you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Calender's for over 15 years and have never considered changing dentist for any reason. I am very apprehensive about dental procedures of any kind and Dr. Calender and his staff recognize and understand my fears and go out of their way to insure that I am comfortable and at ease. He always follows up with me at home after a dental procedure to make sure that any questions are answered and that I am not experiencing unusual discomfort.

Twelve years ago I had dental veneers applied to my upper front teeth and it has made a dramatic improvement in my smile and my self-confidence. I am completely satisfied, have never regretted the decision and will have Dr. Calender replace them when the time comes.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Calender's dental practice and staff. I feel like I'm considered family when I enter the office and that they really care not only about my dental health but also in what is happening with my family and career.

I have been going to Dr. Calendar for several years and he is the best dentist that I have ever been to. He has an excellent chair side manner and always interested in what you have to say.

The office staff is also out of this world. They are always friendly and helpful. They are always willing to work with your schedule and get you in when it is convenient.

I just went the other day for a teeth cleaning and it is always nice when you get up out of the chair with a smile on your face.
