My husband and I have been seeing Dr Pruitt for close to ten years and he is a very kind, considerate dentist. Every treatment has been successful. His desire to make your appointment pain free and comfortable is obvious. All of his staff are the kindest people you will find. I have a lot of back and neck problems and they are always considerate of that situation.

My old dentist retired and his replacement was less then stellar. I was forced to find another dentist to finish my treatment plan. I made an appointment with Dr Pruitt and was impressed from the minute I met him. He took his time in looking over my teeth and gave me what he thought was the best plan for my mouth. His treatment plan was 10000 times better then what the old dr suggested. He wanted to remove some of my teeth and give me a partial. I wasnt comfortable with this but thought it was the only way. When Dr. Pruitt took a look he said you dont need your teeth removed, lets fill them and thats what we have begun. Hes very honest and tells you like it is. When he administed the anestisia I didnt feel a thing and usually after a dentist appt your teeth throb from being worked on, I was shocked that I didnt feel a thing after he was done. Im actually excited to go to his office and get the work done I needed. You will not be dissapointed. If you are looking for a drive through dentist who you see for 5 mins and hes gone again then try someone else, but if you are looking for a dentist who truly cares about what hes doing then try Dr Pruitt. His Reviews speak for themselves..Thats what caught my eye!!!

I came to Dr Oogle after had neglected my dental care for much longer than I care to admit. I was very uncomfortable about finding a new dentist. Doctor Oogle was just what I needed to get me back on track. Dr Pruitt's patient reviews as well as the sheer number of his reviews spoke volumes. In 2007, I finally made the call for an appt. Dr Pruitt and his staff were very understanding about my nervousness during my first visit. He is an unbelievably gentle dentist who is careful to stay in tune with the patient's needs. If he sees that you might be in the slightest discomfort, he asks how you are doing and if he sees that you need him to stop or give you a break, he does. He is also very particular about the quality of his work. I was getting a crown and when he was placing the crown in place, he wasn't satisfied with how the lab had made it. He ended up sending it back to the lab to have it made again so it fit properly and to his satisfaction. The entire staff is very kind and puts you at ease in a very relaxed atmosphere. I feel like I've been visiting this practice much longer than just under 2 years. During this time, he has worked with me to complete all the necessary work that I needed.

I was 16 years old the first time I went to Dr. Pruitt. I was terrified because of previous bad experiences with other dentists. My grandparents had been seeing him and away we went. We warned him and he took me on. I passed out on my first visit. He still took me back and he has never hurt me. Who knew there was a painless dentist out there. I am 39 now. My husband, my 12 year old son, and my eleven year old daughter all see him too. I refer him every chance I get especially to those who say they do not like dentists. He is gentle, kind, honest, funny and always has time for you and your small talk. Praise the Lord for Janice too. What will you do if she tries to retire! These reviews speak for themselves - Dr. Pruitt's practice is of the first rate - and in that regard there isn't much I can say that hasn't already been covered.

But I can attest that his philosophy of "dentistry unhurried" is the absolute truth. Dr. Pruitt grew up in the same small Texas town as I did and worked for a true housecall doctor who is still remembered for his bedside manner, dedication, and compassion. I don't think its an accident that Dr. Pruitt is loved by clients for the same attributes. And regardless, his artwork alone makes it worth the trip.

After not having seen a dentist in many, many years after unpleasant experiences and because I just could not afford it as a single mom, I found these review of Dr. Pruitt and decided I would make an appointment. From the first visit, I was convinced that Dr. Pruitt and his staff are not like the other dentists I've been to in the past. First of all, they talk to you like you are a neighbor or friend. They are concerned with your comfort and make every effort to keep your comfort level high. My second visit was last evening for an extraction. I can in all honesty say that I didn't feel a thing. When my husband and I went to the drug store for the prescription for the pain med, I wasn't sure I would even need it. And I was right. Today I feel that the visit to Dr. Pruitt's office was a dream because I am still feeling no pain. Thank you Dr. Pruitt, Toni and the gang. You most definitely deserve all these excellent ratings because you are simply the Best! Wish I had found you years ago. I very highly recommend Dr. Pruitt and his wonderful staff.

I started going to Dr Pruitt appoximately 26 years ago when he first started. I have always been very happy with Dr Pruitt and the work he does. There was period when I had moved away from the metroplex and my Dentist there was very impressed as Dr Pruitt had sent a nice personal letter regretting that I had moved and that he hated to lose me as a patient along with all of my dental records. Dr. Pruitt always takes plenty of time needed to numb you up when cavaties or crowns are concerned. He also does not double or triple book so your appointment time is ususally right on schedule. The staff is also very friendly and positive.

I have gone to Dr. Pruitt for several years and have been extremely satisfied with his professionalism and the ability to put you at ease with whichever dental procedure he is completing. I was looking for a dentist near my area and after reading Dr. Pruitt's reviews, I chose to go with him. I was not expecting the things I read to be true, but I was completely wrong. I had always been terrified of dentist, but Dr. Pruitt has taken away that fear. He was very gentle, making sure he did not hurt me. I did not feel pain whatsoever. It even made me sleepy! Dr. Pruit has been taking care of my family and I for years. That is why when I moved to Dallas, it was never a question as to whether or not I would look for a new dentist. His convenient late hours on Monday make it easy for me to make an appointment without compromising my work schedule.

Our family has been going to Dr Pruitt for seventeen years. He is by far the best dentist we have ever been to in the three places we have lived. He is extremely gentle and caring, always making sure that he is not hurting you with the necessaries like novacaines and drilling. He is extremely precise with his dental work. One of my crowns was a real problem. When it didn't fit after several attempts, he sent it back and got a new one made which did fit. The hygienists are great along with his assistants who are wonderful! The insurance part is always handled smoothly with never any problems. We hope that he never retires as we would never find a replacement that would come close to him as a dentist who really cares about his patients. He has lots of patience with his patients, that's for sure!

I grew up in a small town in North La. and unfortunately I was not able to have proper dental care growing up as a child. After I started working a full time job and started

receiving health and dental insurance the first thing I wanted to do was get the proper dental work done that I had needed for years. Just by chance I walked into Dr. Pruitts office and asked if he could help, his response was, well lets take a look. After a good cleaning and lots of evaluation I knew that there was a lot of work to be done.

Over the next ten years Dr. Pruitt and I develop more than just a business relationship, we became friends.

With the excellent help from Janice, Tony and all the other professionals that work at Dr. Pruitt office. Every visit at Dr. Pruitts office has been nothing but pleasurable. The one visit that I will never forget is the time I was getting a ROOT CANAL done and I actually feel asleep during the procedure, I tell people about this and of course they dont believe it, but it did happen.

Dr. Pruitt takes his time and make sure that you experience zero pain and is 100% comfortable.

I have gone to Dr.Pruitt for quite a few years ,I had been going to another dentist regularly but it seemed they were only interested in getting you in and out and when your appointment was at 3:00 and they didnt get to you till 4:00 it was frustrating .

Dr Pruitt will even schedule you for after hours if need be.

His staff has allways been friendly and ready to help ,even if you have to make a last minite change of appointment.

They are also very good in working with your insurance co.

Dr Pruitt uses all the latest equipment and techniques.

He has never caused me any pain or discomfort in any way.

His manner is incomparable,he is allways interested in how you are doing and making you feel more like a good friend than just another patient.

I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Pruitt for over 4 years. I was new to the community and he was highly recommended by a friend. I had been burned by previous dentists when I was new with "new" cavities and dentists taking advantage of me being a new patient with insurance.

Dr. Pruitt immediately put me at ease. He is very friendly and his staff is also very friendly. He takes his time but I love that because I ask a lot of questions. Now he knows me and asks about my family and friends and I love having a dentist that I hope to go to as long as I live in the area. I've never had an issue with billing, never experienced pain, never had a problem with anything.

If you're looking for a great dentist that will treat you like a patient and not a number, a dentis that will take his time and get it right...Dr. Pruitt is the guy!

I have been a patient of Dr. Pruitt's for almost 10 years. Previously to finding Dr. Pruitt, I would make myself sick about having to visit a dentist because I was so anxious. I had a lot of problems with my teeth growing up, and had some bad experiences. With Dr Pruitt, if you even blink just a little harder than normal, he stops what he's doing to make sure you are comfortable.

He is also the only dentist my son has seen, and he decided he wants to be a dentist now. How impressive is that? I don't have insurance for my son, and have found his prices to be reasonable.

I also want to say that Janice (front office) is wonderful and I am always greeted like one of the family. I drive 20 miles each way to visit this office. This dentist is well worth the trip.

Have been going to him since April 1987. Have been always completly satified with his and his staff work. He helped me save my teeth. I had a bad gum problem. He is alway so careful to not let me feel pain. I was afraid of dentists from a bad experence when I was younger. 5 years ago I had such a bad tooth ache, but was too scared to get anything done about it. I am a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist. My friend took me to Dr Pruitt and he was wonderful. He explains everything he's doing and makes sure you are comfortable. He takes the time to make me feel like I'm the most important patient he has. He is always there in an emergency. Today I broke a tooth and in no time flat I was in his chair and we were talking like old friends. He really caters to cowards! He won't try to do more than you need. He understands when money is tight and helps you plan a time line that will help you and still maintain healthy teeth. I reccommend Dr Pruitt to everyone looking for a dentist.

I started going to Dr. Pruitt when my niece recommended him as being one of the best dentist in the DFW area for crowns and dentures. I was at that time needing a couple of crowns for myself and possibly dentures for one of my sons. Dr. Pruitt got my attention with his sincere, gentle and kind attitude toward his patients. He is genuinely interested in his patients and his work is done in a very professional manner. I am very pleased with him and his staff, who are as equally customer friendly and just a delight to be around. They seem to have your best interest at heart and always make you feel a part of their family.

I took one of my sons to him for a complete set of dentures.

I sent another son who needed fillings.

I have been a patient of Dr Darrell's for more years than I can count. I first met him through the Lions Club. He and his wife are both lovely people. Because I was looking for a new dentist (after a bad experience with another one), I decided to visit Dr Darrell.

He is extremely gentle and patient. He is very thoughtful when it comes to the anxiety that a patient feels before and during a procedure. His staff is the best! It shows when they have been with him as long as he has been in business! Even though I have dental insurance through an hmo plan, I still visit Dr Darrell because I know that I will receive the best care available.

He removed one of my wisdom teeth in 2004. I expected a lot of pain but with his skill and caring, it was not an unpleasant experience.

When it was time to take my baby to the dentist at the age of 3, I never thought twice of taking him anywhere else. He is now 9 and looks forward to our scheduled cleanings. He definitely listens when Dr Darrell and his hygenist tells him how to care for his teeth!

You can't ask for a better dentist than Dr Darrell. His staff is caring and warm. They remember your name and ask about the family. Why go anywhere else?

Because of Dr. Pruitt and his staff, I have shunned the negative stigma placed on dentists. Since my first visit (I too was referred by a friend), I have felt welcomed and safe in his office and in his hands! My favorite quote from him is, "Am I hurting you," which he says often as he watches to see if I blink, grimace, or make any gesture that may signal I'm in pain. You can also see the steadiness of his hand by taking in the various pictures on the wall that he's drawn over the years. And the friendliness of his staff, like Toni his dental assistant, makes the experience even more satisfying! The office is always clean and comfortable. They'll work with you on costs and help you with any concerns you may have. I look forward to my two cleaning visits a year, as well as any special trips I may take in between. For the quality of care, products, and service I recieve, I wouldn't trade him for another!

Dr. Pruitt did my teeth just this last month. I read most of the reviews here and can attest that they are true. He is very gentle and takes his time. If you want the Walmart brand of service, please go someplace else. Dr Pruitt will take his time and get it done right. Every body else at his office is nice and courteous. Dr. Darrell Pruitt has cared for my teeth for about 10 years, during which time I have learned to anticipate a visit to the dentist enthusiatically. His approach is professionally thorough; he has restored the health of my sadly neglected gums, improved the appearance of my teeth, and is now completing implantation of the molars I lost to gum disease. Best of all, he never hurts me!

Darrell Pruitt has been my personal and family's dentist for over 20 years. His work is exceptional, his costs to his patients excellent, and his staff outstanding. My children have gone to Dr. Pruitt since they were elementary students, now all are in their 30's and still come home to see him, when they need something. He is quick to refer to orthodontists or surgeons if he feels the need.

My oldest cracked and chipped a front tooth when she was away at college, called Dr. Pruitt, and he scheduled to see her on a Sunday (no extra charge) and repaired her tooth right then.

My middle daughter lives in Nashville, but brings her daughter back to Texas to see Dr. Pruitt. They rely on his knowledge and kindness.

Dr. Pruitt has been my dentist(and also my wife's dentist) for 20 years. I do not have insurance but have found his services more than fair. Whether crowns, cavities, or cleaning I have never left his office not believing the very best work was done.

He is so meticulous that even my temporary crown had to be perfect. Dr. Pruitt just doesn't aim for perfection in his work, He has demonstrated a life-long history of excellent dentistry. I find his "chair-side" manor very calming. I have rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments after walking into his office. I have received personal service and professional service at the same location - Darrell Pruitt DDS. Having a warm, fuzzy feeling is great - but even better is having care I trust. Dr. Pruitt has listened to and taken seriously every concern I have had about my teeth. I have had good instructions on how to care for my dental needs. I have been given options and advice about any treatment. I receive a wealth of information.

All this happens in a gentle atmosphere. I do not dread going to the dentist - well, not much, anyhow. I am treated like family. I always am able to get in when I need to. I see many other patients who feel the same way.

My teeth and gums have never been in better shape. Although initially I had to spend some time and money to get my mouth in good health, I now just go in for my visits and come away with cleaner teeth.

My family first came into contact with Dr. Pruitt when he treated my mom who had some dementia at the time. After I saw how kind and careful he was with her I made my mind up at that time to change my family to him as our dentist.

He is as careful with us as he was with my mom. He gives a great shot when necessary and is as painless as any dentist I have ever been treated by. My 15 year old son is not afraid to go and has had several cavities filled over the last few years.

Dr. Pruitt's office manager, Janis, has worked with me well on insurance and rescheduling when it has been necessary. She even gave me a recipe for Thanksgiving. That is really "full service". Other staff have also been caring and helpful.

Overall, my husband, son and I would give Dr. Pruitt a resounding high grade in all areas and we would recommend him without hesitation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pruitt's for only a short time. I realized on my first visit that he is gentle and caring. My experience that brought me to him confirms that not all dental care is the same. My previous long-term dentist was also very gentle. Upon his retirement, I became engaged with a new dentist that did not have these same skills. A subsequent dental emergency brought me to Dr. Pruitt. This was very fortuitous for me. It put me in a dental relationship that is not threatening or painful.

My mom took me to Dr. Pruitt almost 20 years ago. Everyone in my family goes to him, my sister and I drive in from Dallas. The thing I like best about him is that he is PAINLESS! Dr. Pruitt is a wonderful dentist! My boss recommended him in Sept. 05. I was complaining with a terrible toothache. Dr. Pruitt saw me the very day that he was recommended! Nearly 3 months later, he has completely repaired two broken teeth for me. He is extremely sensitive to my needs when working on my teeth. His attention to detail is remarkable! Dr. Pruitt is an artist, both on paper and in his dentistry. He is very gentle. His staff is the very best! I found Dr. Pruitt after a large Arlington dental group told me I needed extensive gum surgery. I wanted a second opinion. Dr. Pruitt checked me over and now 19 years later I have yet to have dental surgery. He is a wonderful human being and has so much compassion and patience with his patients that I can honestly say he practices "painless dentistry". I recommend him to my friends and they thank me. I have personnally known Dr. Pruitt for at least 20 years, and I can attest that he is the best Dentist that anyone could hope for. I vividly remember one time as a child when I fell off my bike and knocked out my front tooth. My mother called Dr. Pruitt and he fixed me up right away. Dr. Pruitt is the consumate professional. He listens to the patient and does not hurry you through any procedure. He is entirely thorough and your mouth feels GOOD when he has completed his work. Dr. Pruitt is always concerned that you are comfortable and not experiencing pain during your treatment. My family and I have been under Dr. Pruitt's care for over twenty years and we have never considered anyone else as our dentist , even though we had to drive more than forty miles to our appointments for several years. His staff have been with him for a long number of years which is a strong statement of the conditions of his workplace and the congeniality of the entire staff.

Dr. Pruitt is compassionate and caring. As stated by others, he provides his services to the poor citizens of Central America in yearly trips that allows vital treatment to those who might never have any dental care. They are truly fortunate to have such a man introduce them to the world of proper dental hygiene!

I have been seeing Dr. Pruitt for 4-5 years now. To this day, I remain convinced that there may not be a more patient dentist, that actually "listens" to each patient, within the North Texas area. I actually consider him to be a throwback to the old days when doctors actually had to "communicate" with patients as well as rely upon modern technology to practice their craft. My suggestion is to simply get one of his first time patient exams. If after that initial visit, you aren't convinced by the facilities, the staff, their procedures and the good Doctor himself, then at least you will have been exposed to the standard by which others should be judged. Dr. Pruitt was our dentist before we left, and I came back to him after being gone because I have so much confidence in him and his staff. There is a real comfort level there. My sister and brother in law have gone to him for years and now my daughter and grandson have been going to him for over 7 years. I travel 34 miles one way to go to him and I am glad to do so to get the kind of care I get. I came back to him with an implant in progress that needed the restoration work done. We have been patients of Dr. Pruitt for over 20 years and our sons have been patients since they were toddlers. We firmly believe that there is not a finer dentist or office staff anywhere. They have seen us through cleanings, fillings, braces, root canals, crowns, chipped teeth, etc. Even when we had dental insurance that would have paid for part of our procedures if we went to other dentists, we chose to stay with Dr. Pruitt. Everything is explained. We are made to feel comfortable and relaxed. The procedures are as pain free as possible. There is no "assembly line" feeling. We receive personal service from the moment we make our appointment until the procedure is over and the bill is paid. If we have problems or questions, we can always reach someone. Dr. Pruitt and all his staff take the time to get to know their patients so they can give this personal service. They also keep up with the latest techniques to better serve. Dr. Pruitt has been the dentist for my wife and me over many years. He is thorough and precise,but makes the procedure as pain free as possible, asking from time to time if he is hurting us. His hygienists are equally as efficient and caring. Cost is reasonable and everything is carefully explained by the front desk and helpful with insurance questions. Reminders when our check-up is due are mailed to us. Follow-up appointments are scheduled, as much as possible, at times convenient for us. I have known Dr. Darrell Pruitt since college. He has always been a person who would give his absolute best effort if he believed something was worth pursuing. Dr. Pruitt has been my dentists since I moved to Fort Worth ten years ago. He always explains fully when something needs to be done and answers all of my questions. Dr. Pruitt never rushes and is truly concerned with your comfort during any procedure. All of my dental work has been done with care and attention to detail ( A crown and replaced old bridge work, plus regular cleanings). Toni and Janice have been with him forever. I work in the same building as Dr. Pruitt and when they moved into the building, we were all very curious as to what kind of dentist he was. Since then, several people from my office, my husband and children have all become patients and friends of Dr. Pruitt and his staff. I also found out later that he also takes care of several other of my family members. I was walking down the hall and looked over to see 3 of my nephews, it took me a minute to realize who they were. :)

I live about 20 miles from his office but would never consider going anywhere else just because of the distance. He's always smiling and always glad to see you. Painless? No question, Inexpensive? Again no question.

Anytime a friend says they really need to go to a dentist I am the first to give out his number. And I will continue to do so.

After having a lifetime of VERY bad experiences with several dentists -- followed by 13 years of no dental visits at all, my best friend insisted I see her dentist, Dr. Darrell Pruitt. That was among the best advice I have ever received! He was very understanding of my past history & never scolded or belittled me for being a true "white knuckle" patient.

For about 15 years now Dr. Pruitt & his excellent staff have provided me with unbelievably easy & painless dental care. I have had several cavities filled & one crown done without pain. He takes time & explains everything. He & Toni are very aware of the slightest indication that you may be beginning to have any discomfort --- and immediately take steps to remedy it. I had NEVER experienced this kind of dental visit! Even my hygienist, Cindi, makes the cleaning experience more like a visit to an old friend --- we chat & visit during the procedure. The fear and apprehension I had previously known has totally disappeared --- I find myself actually looking forward to my regular visits to this very friendly, kind, & caring office.

I have no dental insurance --- but have never compared prices to see how Dr. Pruitt's compare. He is THAT special!

I have been going to Dr. Pruitt for about 10 years now. He has cleaned my teeth, filled my cavities, pulled two wisdom teeth and given me two crowns. I entrust him with my children and several other family members. He has patience and an

outstanding chair-side manner!

I do not have dental insurance. I do pay full price for Dr. Pruitt. Recently, I moved and had not been to Dr. Pruitt's office in a while. As soon as a tooth of mine broke, I knew that distance was not an obstacle. I picked up the phone and got an appointment right away. There was no one other to trust with my teeth. I raced right over to my entrusted dentist, Dr. Pruitt.

Growing up, I had dreaded going to the dentist for a cavity filling. Those shots were always so darn painful. As an adult, ten years ago, I met Dr. Pruitt and for the first time in my life, I realized that those shots never had to be painful. Wow! So many years, I always thought I was just a bad patient because I couldn't withstand those shots. I wasn't a bad patient, I just never met Dr. Pruitt before. A patient for 20+yrs, that's more then 2/3 of my life! He has seen me through cleanings, retainers, fillings, gum surgery, wisdom teeth & God willing he'll see me all the way through to dentures!

As a diabetic, my teeth & gums require special care. From the beginning Dr. Pruitt has been concerned about my well being, taking everything into account at each visit. When you walk into the office, leave caution & concern at the door, there is nothing to worry about in his hands!

In his office, you're not just another chart. Recently, I anonymously referred a complete stranger - based on her description, Dr Pruitt soon called to thank me for that referral. When was the last time you got that kind of acknowledgement from a doctor?

I've been blessed with dental insurance coverage; however for the care you receive his service is priceless! Without a doubt I'd pay cash, never considering another dentist.

Unlike my former dentist, Dr. Pruitt sees patients at the scheduled appointment time. Dr. Pruitt had to cap one of my teeth, and my teeth are a different color at the bottom, than at the top, so he had me meet with the lab technician, directly, who created the perfectly colored cap for me. It matches my other teeth, exactly. Dr. Pruitt also states his home phone number, in his outgoing telephone greeting, in case of emergencies. It is aparent that Dr. Pruitt's staff have been with him a long time, and they are always very pleasant and accommodating. I have been a patient of Dr. Pruitt's for about 8 years, I believe, and I will never, voluntarily, change to another dentist.
